St. Josephs U.P School Vellilappilly

In 1915, Karippakudy primary school started at the management of Sri. Thottumkal Joseph. In 1939, the management of this school is handed over to S.H Convent Vellilappilly. On 5th June 1950, this school is re-established at the new building which was close to Sacred Heart Convent Vellilappilly. In July 1964, this school is promoted as a U.P School. The all-round development of children is taking place here. The students who studied here received the divine call and become priests and nuns. This school get the honourship of "Best School" at the Pala Corporate Educational Agency and Ramapuram sub-district on 1986-87. This tradition is keeping on till now. Rev. Sr. Annie Grace, who got the state award and national award for best teachers is the headmistress of this school now
