This school is established hereon 22nd May 1916. Sri. Joseph Mappilai Ponnamattom, a well known social worker of Marangadu and his co-workers took interest to start this school. Joseph Mappilai Ponnamattom, a well known social worker of Marangadu and his co-workers took interest to start this school. From 1916 to 1945 Sri. Joseph Mappilai was the Manager. Rev. Fr. Zacharias Edakkara was the Manager from 1945 to 1978. In 1978 the management handed over to the Superior of the S.H Convent Vellilappilly. In 1986 the Pala Corporate Educational Agency took up the responsibility of the school. The headmasters of the institution were Sri. Kakkanadu K Siva Sankara Pillai, Sri. V.K Damodharan Nair, Rev. Sr. Annie John, Sr. Agnet, Sr. Amala Jose, Sr. Lissiue Keepuram and Sr. Aggi Maria. Now Rev. Sr. Annit Mathew is the headmistress of this school. Rev. Sr. Mercy Joseph and Sr. Jiss Mathew are the co-workers. This is the only educational institution in this place.
